Service technician

Balmax OÜ is an Estonian-owned company that has been importing, selling, and servicing premium-quality forestry and agricultural machinery throughout the Baltic States since 2008.
Our product portfolio includes premium brands such as Mus-Max wood chippers, HSP Gripen grapples, Kesla forestry cranes, and more.
We are looking for a Service Technician to join our small but hardworking team. Your main responsibilities will include servicing wood chippers, carrying out warranty repairs, and performing other maintenance and repair work.
You are a great fit if you:

enjoy hands-on technical work and don't mind traveling occasionally for service jobs;

have previous experience repairing forestry machinery or relevant technical education;

can communicate in English and Russian at a conversational level;

are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of hydraulics and the ability to read electrical schematics are highly valued. Welding skills are considered an advantage.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Tasks:
Repair and maintenance of wood chippers, forklifts and similar equipment;
Planning and preparation of work in cooperation with the sales manager;
Keeping and submitting records of completed works;
Maintenance of work tools, - place, - car.
Requirements for the candidate:
Technical knowledge, previous experience in repairing equipment and/or relevant education;
Independence and initiative, analytical ability, planning skills;
Having at least a category B drivers license;
Working on weekends if necessary (additional fee);
Basic computer skills.
Comes in handy:
English and/or Russian language skills;
Knowledge of electricity/automation;
Having a category C and E drivers license;
Welding skills.
