Privacy Policy

For Balmax OÜ (hereinafter Balmax), the privacy of individuals and the protection of personal data are important, which is why we have developed a privacy policy that stipulates the purposes and conditions of personal data processing and the rights of data subjects related to personal data.
 

The privacy policy covers Balmax and the website www.balmax.ee  processing of personal data.

 

1. Definitions
 

1.1 Personal data - any information about an identified or identifiable natural person (data subject). 1.4 Authorized processor - natural or legal person, public sector institution, which processes personal data on behalf of the responsible processor and under his supervision.
 

1.5 Third party - natural or legal person, public sector institution, agency or body.
 

1.6 Violation related to personal data - accidental or illegal destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.
 

1.7 Data subject – person whose personal data is processed (e.g. device owner, etc.).

 

2. Principles
 

2.1 Principle of legality, fairness and transparency - processing is legal, fair and transparent to the data subject.
 

2.2 Principle of purpose limitation - personal data are collected for precisely and clearly defined and legitimate purposes and are not subsequently processed in a way that is inconsistent with these purposes.
 

2.3 The principle of collecting as little data as possible - personal data are relevant, important and limited to what is necessary for the purpose of their processing.
 

2.4 Principle of correctness - personal data are correct and, if necessary, updated, incorrect personal data are deleted or corrected immediately.
 

2.5 Principle of storage limitation - personal data is stored in a form that allows data subjects to be identified only as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose.
 

2.6 Principle of reliability and confidentiality - personal data is processed using appropriate technical or organizational measures that ensure adequate security of personal data, protect against unauthorized or illegal processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage.

 

3. Security of personal data processing
 

3.1 We apply organizational, physical and IT security measures to protect personal data.
 

3.2 In certain cases, Balmax may use authorized processors to process personal data. Balmax ensures that authorized processors process personal data in accordance with this policy, in accordance with applicable law and by implementing appropriate security measures.

 

4. Types of personal data
 

4.1 Balmax processes personal data from the person who has disclosed the personal data.
 

4.2 Balmax processes the following personal data:

  • personal data: first and last name, personal identification number, position of the contact person

  • contact information: e-mail address, contact telephone number, postal address

  • internet data: usage session data, cookies, website log data and IP addresses
     

4.3 Balmax is the responsible processor of personal data, following the principles of confidentiality  and disclosing personal data only to a strictly limited extent, ensuring the privacy of individuals. 
 

4.4 Balmax authorized persons have access to change and process personal data.

 

5. Purposes of personal data processing
 

5.1 Balmax processes personal data either to fulfill and ensure fulfillment of the contract, on the basis of the data subject's consent, or to fulfill a legal obligation.
 

5.2 Purpose of personal data processing at Balmax:

  • identification and authentication of individuals

  • sending marketing information

  • concluding a cooperation agreement

  • delivery of the goods to the relevant person

  • issuing payment terms

  • invoicing

  • contact in the event of unforeseen circumstances

  • conducting anonymous usage statistics

  • management of contractual obligations

 

6. Third parties and authorized processors
 

6.1 Balmax may transfer personal data to third parties and authorized processors for strictly limited purposes:

  • to send marketing information;

  • to receive feedback;

  • to the website hosting service provider to improve the user experience
     

6.2 We confirm that we transfer personal data only to such third parties and authorized processors who implement adequate security measures to ensure the security of personal data protection.

7.2 The data subject has the right to make inquiries about the personal data concerning him/her submitted to Balmax.
 

7.3 The data subject has the right to limit the processing of personal data.
 

7.4 The data subject has the right to submit a complaint about the processing of personal data to the Data Protection Inspectorate.

 

8. Storage of personal data
 

8.1 Balmax stores personal data in a way that allows data subjects to be identified as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose, except for legal requirements.
 

8.2 Balmax destroys and/or deletes all personal data for which there is no purpose of storage.

 

9. Use of cookies
 

9.1 A cookie is a small text file that is automatically saved by the web browser on the device used by the person. We use cookies to collect anonymous and generalized statistics about the number of visitors to the website.
