Mus-Max DemoDAY PHOTOS AND SUMMARY

On October 11, 2024, a Mus-Max demo day was held at the Vooremäe Sports Center in Kastre Parish, Tartumaa, where four different powerful wood chippers were showcased. The event attracted forestry and wood industry specialists from Estonia and Latvia, who had the opportunity to explore the efficiency and features of various Mus-Max chipper models.

Mus-Max WT11XL with Mercedes-Benz truck (630 hp)

  • Output: 300 m³/h

  • Feed table dimensions: 135 x 80 cm

  • Maximum allowed log diameter: 80 cm

  • This model is specifically designed to produce large fraction wood chips, making it suitable for large industries and demanding work environments.

Mus-Max WT11TG with Volvo FH16-550hp truck

  • Output: 240 m³/h

  • Feed table dimensions: 114 x 75 cm

  • Maximum allowed log diameter: 75 cm

  • Number of knives: 10 knives

  • A distinguishing feature of this model is the hydraulic fan, which ensures better cooling and stable performance.

Mus-Max WT10TG with Volvo FMX (6x6) truck

  • Feed table dimensions: 98 x 75 cm

  • Maximum allowed log diameter: 75 cm

  • Number of knives: 10 knives

  • This chipper is very user-friendly thanks to the 6x6 truck, making it suitable for more challenging terrain conditions.

Tractor Chipper Mus-Max WT10XLZ

  • Feed table dimensions: 98 x 75 cm

  • Maximum allowed log diameter: 75 cm

  • Number of knives: 10 knives

  • As a tractor-mounted chipper, this model is an ideal solution for those needing a mobile and powerful chipper for tractor installation.


Additionally, we showcased our popular HSP Gripen grapples and Kesla forestry cranes.

The demo day provided a valuable insight into the technologies and capabilities of modern wood chippers. Each model demonstrated its performance in various conditions, allowing attendees to compare productivity and efficiency.
